Nearly twice million dollar publishers created on App Store than Google Play

Analysis of consumer spending on in-app purchases and subscriptions has revealed that the App Store produced nearly twice million-dollar apps in 2018 than Google Play. However, Google Play is getting more million dollar publishers at a faster pace than App Store each year. With game apps contributing the major share, the US App Store had produced 164 million-dollar publishers in 2018, while Google Play produced 88.
