Scientists discover 'New State of Matter that exists both as Solids & Liquids'

Physicists at the University of Edinburgh found that under certain conditions, some elements can co-exist as solids & liquids. They used AI to simulate to see what happens to potassium at higher temps (400-800 Kelvin); noted that elements form a distinct arrangement at an atomic level called Host-Guest structures-80% host (solid) & 20% guest (liquid). Machine learning can be used to study the behaviour of atoms at high temps.
