No regular security updates for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge

Despite being more than 3 years old at this point, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge still receive security updates. However, from now on, they won’t receive security patches every three months as the time frame has been changed. Before this, the S7 and S7 edge released in 2016, was the only device from 2016 supposedly getting security patches every month. But, Samsung now has three 'buckets' for security updates.
