Data by the Centre for Science and Environment informed that only 13% of the garbage in Delhi is of high calorific value and can be destroyed to generate energy while the remaining can be recycled or biologically treated. The data has displayed the mismanagement of the waste in the national capital. 3 WTE plants to deal with 50% of waste were constructed, which takes the clarific value waste.
