Oracle co-CEO Mark Hurd passes away at 62

Oracle co-CEO Mark Hurd passed away at the age of 62. The news of Hurd's demise was confirmed by Oracle on Friday but the company didn't give the reason behind his death. Hurd was on medical leave as announced by Oracle in Sep. He joined Oracle as a co-president in 2010 prior to which he led the computer and printer maker Hewlett-Packard. Hurd had also worked at the business technology company NCR Corp before joining HP.
