Paytm takes battle against phishing to Delhi HC, seeks action against Airtel, Jio

Troubled with increasing phishing scams, Paytm and Paytm Payments Bank’s parent company One97 Communications moved the Delhi high court seeking damages worth INR 100 Cr from telecom service providers Airtel, Vodafone and Reliance Jio for their inactions against such scammers using their network. It has alleged that telecom companies' inaction to fight phishing cases has “caused financials and reputational loss” to the company.
