PhonePe, Mobikwik and Infibeam Avenues have backed Vijay Shekhar Sharma-led Paytm’s claims that telecom companies and the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) are ineffective in handling the rising phishing cases in India. PhonePe, Mobikwik and Infibeam Avenues have too filed a writ, claiming reputational damage. Jio and VI had previously accused Paytm for shifting the blame of its own lapses to evade legal liability
