By analysing normal computed tomography (CT) scans, Australian researchers have built an AI tech that identifies early symptoms of prostate cancer. The researchers taught the AI programme to seek disease-related characteristics in various scans and look for them, eliminating the need to manually crop the pictures. The AI not only performed better, but it also recognised malignant growths in seconds, according to the researchers.
