Report: Apple halts development of AR/ VR headsets

Apple reportedly sent its plans to develop the Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) headsets to backburners. Speculation is rife the tech giant is now adjusting its R&D resources, and the development team for AR/VR headsets has been disbanded and transferred to other product lines for the time being. Rumour has it Microsoft HoloLens co-creator Avi Bar-Zeev has left as Apple's AR headset development team.
