A group of astronomers led by the University of Sydney's Tim Bedding has recorded new musical pulses coming from a mysterious type of star Delta Scuti, which shines around twice as bright and twice as hot as the Earth's sun. Some of the stars seemed to pulse at frequencies that harmonized with other nearby stars. This is the first time this phenomenon with Delta Scuti stars has been recorded by astronomers.
