Responding to Facebook's plea, SC notices Centre and other social majors

Facebook has filed a plea seeking transfer to the court petitions pending before different High Courts, demanding interlinking of Aadhaar Database with Social Media profiles. Based on the plea, the Supreme Court has sent notices to the Centre, Twitter, and YouTube. While the government is dealing with WhatsApp end-to-end encryption, all the pleas will be handled by the Supreme Court as these are serious issues.
