Even though it was only for half-time entertainment, the humanoid robot at the Tokyo Olympics was outstanding. The robot is known as CUE 3, with the number referring to the third generation of the robot, and it was created by Toyota, a Japanese automaker. The robot was built by Toyota engineers as a free-time project by nine volunteers from the Toyota Central R&D Labs in Japan, according to Toyota's blog.
