ISRO's second mission to the moon will be launched on July 15 from Sriharikota. It will scale the lunar surface and gather information on minerals, rock formations, and water. It is the first interplanetary mission that will feature a woman Project Director and a woman Mission Director and comprises of 30% women team. M.Vanitha is the project director, and Ritu Karidhal is Mission Director for Chandrayaan2.
