A tiny 'alien' grain of dust that was created by a long-gone star that died, has been discovered by scientists. The tiny speck of stardust was found inside of a chondritic meteorite in Antarctica. It was originally hurled into space by an exploding star that died even before the sun existed. This new discovery is thought to help create the early mix of materials that helped form the sun & our planets & eventually life.
