ShareChat took down content after TikTok issued notice

Some users uploaded TikTok videos on ShareChat platform. The Chinese short video app TikTok sent notice to Sharechat, asking them to remove those contents as TikTok has “exclusive copyright” on some content due to a contractual agreement between the content creators and the App. Many users share TikTok contents on their Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts. It is not known whether they have also been notified.
