South Korea has reached a new milestone - 1 million 5G subscribers in just 69 days, which is faster than the 80 days it took to achieve the country’s first 1 million 4G subscribers in 2011. The 1 million 5G subscriber number exceeded on June 10 after the official April 3 launch of commercial 5G services with an average 17,000 new 5G customers every day. But concerns are there over potentially illegal subsidization.
