Space X gets permission to launch 1500 satellites beaming Internet to Earth

Space X CEO Elon Musk received official permission from the US government to launch a fleet of 1500 satellites designed to beam high-speed internet signals down to Earth. It's a major milestone for Elon Musk as he dreams of putting 12,000 small satellites into low Earth orbit connecting rural & developing parts of the world to the internet. SpaceX's 1st satellites are expected to come online next year.
