SpiceJet flight aborts landing due to technical issues, accident averted

Goa Airport witnessed a major accident when a runway controller forced the Spice Jet flight to abort from landing when he noticed that the planed had reached the final approach without actually deploying the landing gear of the nose. The Indian Navy Air Traffic Services was very alert which prevented the major accident. The flight had landed safely at 0805 hrs after taking necessary safety and precautionary measures.
