India is heading towards creating history with Chandrayaan-2's landing on Moon. But do you know, despite being an ambitious project, cost of the project is Rs 978 crore, of which Rs 608 crore was spent on spacecraft and Rs 375 crore on the launcher GSLV MK-III. The Statue of Unity's cost is 3 times Chandrayaan-2, Rs 2966 crore. This entire lunar mission is less than Hollywood movie Avengers Endgame, which costs Rs 2443 crore.
