Thousands of apps suspended by Facebook over Cambridge Analytica row

Facebook Inc has suspended tens of thousands of apps on its platform as a part of its ongoing app developer investigation which began in March 2018 in response to the Cambridge Analytica row. According to Facebook, the apps were associated with around 400 developers. Facebook mentioned that the suspension doesn't indicate that the apps were posing a threat to users. Facebook is now focusing on safeguarding its users' data.
