A UK-based consulting firm CHS left its Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 bucket unsecured, exposing thousands of passport scans, job applications, and tax documents online. Inside the database files dating back to 2011, 2014 and 2015 were found. However, the responsibility of this data breach doesn’t fall at Amazon's door, even though it runs the server. Making the data public is an issue from the account owner.
