TikTok ban lifted by Madras High Court, app free to download now

Following yesterday’s Supreme Court order directing the High Court to decide on the question of interim relief for TikTok, The Bench of Justices N Kirubakaran and SS Sundar of Madras HC lifted the ban today after hearing submissions made by TikTok and Amicus Curiae. TikTok assured court in an affidavit that its in-built security mechanism will moderate content and will not allow uploading of obscene and vulgar content.
