Trial run on Pink Line’s highest point for first time

The Delhi Metro has broken its own record of highest track on its Pink Line where the train will run at a height of 23.6m. The highest point will come between stations of Mayapuri and the South Campus. The new alignment is made at such height because the Pink line passes over the Airport Express at Dhaula Kuan. Also, a couple of flyovers have to be bisected during this point.
