UK govt set to accept payments via Google Pay & Apple Pay for some services

The UK government has announced that it is now open to accept payments through digital platforms Google Pay and Apple Pay for some of its services to the public. In 2016, the govt launched its online transactions platform GOV.UK Pay for services with credit and debit cards, and now it has allowed the usage of digital platforms as well for the payments, as announced by the Ministry of Implementation.
