US grants Huawei 90-day extension to buy from American suppliers

United State Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said that the US government would extend a reprieve given to Huawei Technology which will allow the firm to purchase supplies from US companies so that the Chinese brand can service existing customers. With Huawei's 'temporary general licence' set to expire on August 19, Ross claimed that an extension has been granted for 90 days from here on and was adding 46 affiliates to the Entity List.
