Users with Epilepsy got attacked, Twitter responded by banning animated PNG files

The Epilepsy foundation's twitter account was sent out images that could potentially cause seizures in photosensitive people. Twitter has banned animated PNG files after the incident. Twitter said that they have discovered a bug that allowed the users to bypass autoplay settings. The company said that they want everyone to have a safe experience on Twitter and APNGs don't respect the autoplay settings.
