Virgin Atlantic flight sets new record, reached 1300 kmph speed

Virgin Atlantic Flight 8, that was flying from Los Angeles to London on Monday night had hit a record speed of 1300 kilometre per hours over the New York City area. The typical cruising speed of a Dreamliner is around 561 mph and the past speed record was 776 mph set in January 2017. The cruising speed was bolstered by the strong tailwind that surrounded it and the plane did not achieve it itself.
