Vodafone Group pulls out from Facebook's Libra cryptocurrency project

Vodafone Group is the first big firm in recent times to quit Facebook's controversial Libra cryptocurrency project. Vodafone has now joined PayPal, Mastercard, Visa, Mercado Pago, eBay, Stripe, and Booking Holdings in the list of major companies that have exited from the controversial project. Libra association confirmed in a statement that Vodafone is no longer a member in the cryptocurrency project.
