WhatsApp to take actions on off-platform abuse

Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp has threatened its users of a lawsuit if the rules are broken. In an official statement, it said that legal actions would be taken against those assisting or engaged in abuse of others, even if that is based on information off-platform. It has also said automated or bulk messaging, or non-personal use are also considered ban-worthy. However, it didn't say how it would gather the evidence.
