Chandrayaan-2, is just hours ahead to make soft-land on the moon’s South Pole. Chandrayaan-2 will follow Chandrayaan-1 achievements which discovered the presence of water molecules on lunar surface. This mission, which targets South Pole that no other country has reached so far, will attempt to land its rover and lander in a high plain between two craters - Manzinus C and Simpelius N - at a latitude of about 70° south.
