WiFi usage in India is among the lowest, globally

According to the latest report by the mobile analytics firm, it has been revealed that the time spent on WiFi in India has reduced from 10.2% to 9.8% since January. It also revealed that Indian mobile data consumers are among the lowest users of WiFi globally. Even though smartphones are incredibly popular in the country, OpenSignal did not make significant progress in India, unlike many other countries.
