World's first Car-Cycle crash test to take place soon

Volvo Cars, in a joint venture with Swedish sports and safety company POC is developing a series of crash tests of cycle helmets against car helmets. Accidents between car and bikes often cause grave injuries and deaths. This project comprises of exclusively designed crash tests and programmes to understand various injuries that the cyclists suffer from. They will use real traffic situation to further improve the safety.
