Canada has extended the ban on flights from India till August 21 amid the fears of the Delta variant of Covid. The ban on flights was set to expire on July 21 but it was extended by another month in view of the pandemic. It is the fourth time that the ban on flights from India has been extended by Canada. Transport Minister Omar Alghabra told the media that the ban has been extended because of the Delta variant.
