First international flight touches down the runway of Melbourne airport in five months

The flight from Colombo will the first of the five flights to land at the airport. The Melbourne airport stopped arrivals in late June after a coronavirus outbreak at two hotels. Australia has reported 28,000 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 908 deaths since the outbreak.
