Good news for commuters! The government extends the mandatory FASTag deadline till Dec 15 than the earlier set date Dec 1. The ministry of road transport and highways communication said to facilitate sufficient lead time to citizens to obtain FASTag, it's decided that all the lanes in the Fee Plazas shall be declared as FASTag lane of Fee Plaza. Nitin Gadkari said 537 toll plazas will become 100% electronic tolls.
