Agatti Airport to get India's first runway on a 'sea bridge'

Soon, India to get its first runway on a sea bridge at Lakshadweep's Agatti Airport as the green signal has been given by Airports Authority of India to build RCC platform on the beach and shallow sea which will extend the Airport area and provide larger space for ATRs operation. This new project will cost about Rs 1,500 crore and helps to bring the airfare which is on the higher side to affordable level.
