A 61-year-old Indian man who returned from the United States after 18 years has been booked by the police for travelling on a forged passport. The man identified as Kirti Kumar Patel, a native of Ahmedabad, moved a Delhi court seeking protection from the arrest. The court turned down Patel's request while adding that such forgery and malpractices tarnish the image of the country abroad. Patel travelled to US in 2002.
