Indians lead, beat other nationals on spending in leisure, tourism & travel

WTCC Economic Impact 2019 report states Indians are global leaders when it comes to spending on travel, tourism and in having fun. India beats Mexico, Thailand, Spain, Turkey, US & China. It has spent 94.8% of its total GDP to leisure while US was at 71.3% & China at 81.4%. Report said that the Indian travel & tourism sector outpaced the global & regional growth rates in 2018. The travel industry created 4.27 crore jobs.
