'Janta Curfew': Delhi Metro to remain closed on Sunday

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has decided to shut the services on March 22, Sunday, in support of PM Narendra Modi's 'Janta Curfew' initiative amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus that has affected over 200 people in the country. "The move is aimed at encouraging public to stay indoors and maintain social distancing, which is essential in the fight against Covid-19," DMRC wrote in a tweet.
