No plan to privatise Indian Railways: Piyush Goyal

Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal said in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that the government has no plan to privatise the Indian Railways. Goyal said this after some members raised concerns over it. "Indian Railways belongs to the people of this country, it will remain so," Mr Goyal said. However, he added that the government may bring in a few services under private sector in order to provide better services to the passengers.
