NSG Commandos summit Mt Everest in maiden attempt, create history!

A 7-member team of the NSG, led by Lt Col J P Kumar, successfully spread the Indian flag at the 8848-metre tall peak. This is NSG's 1st expedition to the Mount Everest & they started preparation since 2017. 5 other members of the team are likely to summit the peak on May 22 as per schedule. NSG Director says the commandos possess the qualities like tenacity, courage, perseverance & many skills to survive in tough conditions.
