Philippines has decided to extend the travel ban on travellers from India and 9 other countries in view of the Delta variant surge. The travel ban will be extended till the end of August. The authorities in Philippines are taking steps to curb the outbreak as Covid cases continue to stay above the 12,000-mark. Apart from India, the travel ban has been extended for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and other countries.
