Rs. 2000 fine for taking dangerous train selfies

Southern Railways has imposed a fine of Rs. 2000 on incautious selfie-takers to prevent accidents. This move follows an increase in accidents involving youngsters taking selfies in front of fast moving trains or on travelling footboards. The Railway division stressed that repeated offence will lead to six-month imprisonment. However, many people were let off with a warning on the first day of the initiative.
