Saudi Arabia to allow entry of vaccinated foreign tourists starting Friday

17 months after closing its border to foreign tourists in view of the Coronavirus pandemic, Saudi Arabia has decided to open its borders for fully vaccinated foreign tourists. No relaxations have been announced for the umrah, a pilgrimage for Muslims. According to the Saudi Press Agency, "the Kingdom will open its doors to foreign tourists and lift... the suspension of entry for tourist visa holders, starting from August 1."
