In a first, Tejas Express passengers to get Rs 250 compensation for 2-hour delay

The passengers of newly launched Tejas Express will be paid a compensation of Rs 250 each for the 2-hour delay in both the directions. The cause of delay was delayed maintenance. About 451 passengers boarded the train from Lucknow & 500 took the train from New Delhi. Tejas Express is the 1st corporatised train of IRCTC launched from Lucknow. This is the first time that passengers will be compensated for the delayed journey.
