Udan-II to connect 90 air routes, including Kargil

The Indian government has announced the results of the second round of bidding of UDAN Regional Connectivity Scheme. 90 routes to airlines and helicopter operators have been awarded and the air connectivity will be enhanced to 73 new airports and helipads in destinations like Kargil, Almora Gangtok, Cooch Bihar, Darbhanga and some other places. UDAN II will address the air connectivity problem in difficult to reach areas.
