While landing at Shirdi airport, SpiceJet flight overshot; pilots grounded

SpiceJet's Boeing 737 aircraft on Monday overshot the runway while landing at the Shirdi airport, informed the airport director Dhiren Bhosale. The incident happened at around 4.30 pm, causing no harm to the passengers and the pilots. After the overshoot, the airlines grounded the pilots pending an internal inquiry. DGCA has sent an official for the investigations in the incident. AAIB will also be involved in probe.
