Nirav Modi has entered UK on investor's Golden visa

Nirav Modi, who has been on the run from India, had entered the UK on investor's Golden visa that was issued on his Indian passport. The Investor's Golden visa allows a person to work, study or set up work in the UK and a one-time investment of 2 million pound needs to be done to make the visa permanent. The date of Modi's entry into the UK is not known yet. Even though Modi's passport was revoked, it doesn't affect the validity of the visa.
