Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries becomes the highest-ranked Indian frim on Fortune Global 500 list

Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries has become the highest-ranked Indian company on the Fortune Global 500 list; replacing Indian Oil Corp who had been on the list. IOC was the first to feature on the list. RIL ranked 106 & IOC was at 117; so RIL moved up 42 places. RIL's revenue increased from $62.3 bn in 2018 to $82.3 bn in 2019. Other companies to feature on the list are ONGC, SBI, Tata Motors, BPCL & Rajesh Exports.
