Reliance Industries becomes 1st Indian firm with market capitalisation of Rs 9 lakh crore

Shares of billionaire Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries took a long leap on Friday as the company's market capitalisation touched Rs 9 lakh crore mark. Reliance Industries' shares were recorded at Rs 1428 after a jump of 2%. Reliance is now India’s most valuable firm by market capitalisation. The second company in the list is IT giant TCS with a market capitalisation at Rs 7.67 lakh crore, which is far behind Reliance.
